Dr. Joshua Helmstadter is a graduate of USC School of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Upon graduation, Dr. Joshua Helmstadter was selected amongst an elite group of applicants into an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force, where he significantly expanded his expertise with an emphasis on dental surgery and sedation. Dr. Helmstadter became passionate about Cosmetic Dentistry and through his drive for perfectionism, honed his skills with hands-on training at Aesthetic Advantage, with the esteemed Dr. Larry Rosenthal at NYU. Dr. Helmstadter is a member of the American Dental Association, a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and he is a board member of the Continuing Education Committee of The Santa Barbara and Ventura Country Dental Society. He holds certifications in both IV and Oral Sedations.

Dr. Helmstadter’s approach to dentistry is comprehensive, focusing on addressing root causes and creating tailored treatment plans for both function and aesthetics.
